Day 01: Arrive in Cochin – Drive to Munnar

Welcome to God’s Own Country! Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, our PP Holidays executive will warmly receive you. Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Munnar (approx. 4 hours), a route that unfolds into a mesmerizing world of rolling hills, misty air, and cascading waterfalls. Check into your resort upon arrival in Munnar and unwind. Later in the evening, delve into the world of tea at the Tea Museum, where you’ll witness the magical journey from fresh leaves to your morning cup. If time permits, explore Munnar town and shop for aromatic spices and delightful handmade chocolates.

Day 02: Explore Munnar 

After a hearty breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, a paradise draped in green. Start your day at the Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr. A gentle trek here promises breathtaking views and close encounters with nature. Continue your journey to the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Garden, Pothamedu View Point, and the panoramic Top Station. Each stop paints a picture of tranquility, with vast tea plantations as your ever-present backdrop.

Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady – Wilderness Beckons

Today, we leave the tea-scented air of Munnar and journey towards the spice-scented lands of Thekkady (approx. 4 hours / 110 km). Enjoy the changing landscape as you drive through hills adorned with cardamom plantations and cascading waterfalls. After checking in and a delicious lunch, set out for a serene boat ride on Periyar Lake, nestled in the heart of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Catch sight of wild elephants, spotted deer, and vibrant birdlife. Adventurous souls can also participate in unique eco-tourism activities like bamboo rafting, nature walks, or even the Periyar Tiger Trail.

Day 04: Thekkady to Alleppey – Into the Backwaters

After breakfast, we set off for the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey (approx. 5 hours / 160 km), often referred to as the "Venice of the East." around 1 PM, step aboard your traditional houseboat for an unforgettable overnight cruise through the labyrinthine backwaters of Vembanad Lake. Let the soothing rhythm of the boat, the swaying palms, and glimpses of rural life mesmerize you. Watch life unfold along the banks—children waving, fishermen casting nets, and women tending to their homes. As the sun sets, the houseboat anchors, allowing you to soak in the serenity of the starlit skies and lapping waters.

Day 05: Departure from Cochin – Farewell Kerala

Your houseboat cruise resumes at 8 AM for a short final sail. After disembarking at Alleppey Jetty at 9 AM, we drive you to Cochin for your onward journey.
